Comments. The proposed transfer is based upon the presence of reduced and obtuse lateral elytral carinae. Geographical distribution. Brazil: Rio de Janeiro.

Known only from the type-locality, Brazil, Rio de Janeiro: Itatiaia (Maromba). (MNRJ).
