Chorotype: Palearctic

Kaun.: Dubravos miškas f. 1, 12 08 2000 (1, in the pheromone trap for Ips typographus , P. Z.), [ TIZM] .

This species is very rare in Lithuania ( Pileckis & Monsevičius 1995) and neighbouring countries (Tsinkevich & Aleksandrovich 2002; Barševskis 2005); it is included in the list of indicator species of natural forest habitats ( Ehnström et al. 2003). Only one finding has been known earlier in Čepkeliai Nat. R. (Ferenca 1988, Monsevičius 1997) ( Fig.1).
