Diagnosis. Black species with yellowish orange legs. The areolet on fore wing is small and petiolate, and the hind basitarsus bears a small postmedian projection with a hair tuft on inner side.
Description. Townes (1958).
Host records. Cnaphalocrocis medinalis (Guenée) ( Lepidoptera : Pyralidae ) on rice ( Oryza sativa ).
Distribution records. Reunion (new record). India, China, Taiwan , Japan and Korea.
