Distribution. Bangladesh, Cambodia, China, Indonesia, India (Tamil Nadu), Japan, Melanesia ( Papua New Guinea), Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Taiwan, Vietnam.

Systematic notes: A well-known species with a wide distribution in Southeast Asia, reaching south to New Guinea.
