Megachile walkeri is also known from the southern Palaearctic region (e.g. Saudi Arabia). It is not mentioned in PASTEELS (1965) and EARDLEY & URBAN (2010). Megachile fulvescens WALKER, 1871 is a junior homonym of Megachile fulvescens SMITH, 1853 .
