CONSERVATION STATUS [IUCN].— The conservation status of Rhabdophis auriculatus auriculatus has not been assessed for the IUCN Red List [2016] ver. 3.1, but IUCN notes that it is list- ed in the Catalogue of Life as Rhabdophis auriculata and as such it is listed by IUCN as Least Concern.
