Type locality. Los Tilos, Gran Canaria, Canary Islands.
Holotype: 1♀ immature [Gran Canaria/Uyttenboogaart/ X.1927] [Los Tillos] [♀] [ Laparocerus / doramasen- / sis / Uyttenb. / Type]. NMNHN (Coll. Uyttenboogaart), Leiden ( Figure 1 View Figure 1 ).
Remarks. The holotype is a small specimen of L. hirtus Wollaston, 1864 and therefore L. doramasensis must be regarded as a junior synonym (new synonym!).
