Laparocerus clavatus ( Wollaston, 1854)

Atlantis clavatus Wollaston 1854, p 363 , Table 7, Figure 3 (habitus).

Type locality. Pouso-Fateiras, Island of Madeira.

Holotype: 1♀ pinned, missing club of left antenna [256] Spring 1848, Pouso-Fateiras, leg. Wollaston [Typus] [ Laparocerus / clavatus , type Woll.]. NHM, London.

Remarks. Eight specimens kept at the Wollaston Collection at Oxford are not syntypes. They were collected by Wollaston in December 1858 in the mountains of Madeira [1134].
