Notes. The type series included the male holotype and a male paratype, both of which are at the NHM . The labels of the holotype are: “ Aneura / basalis [hw] / Freeman. / HOLOTYPE ” [printed on red label]” // [male terminalia on a microslide attached to a pinned acetate sheet]” // “HOLO- / TYPE” [printed in black on a rounded label with red border]” // “Nahuel Huapi, / Puerto Blest. / 2–3.xii.1926.” // “ Argentina: / Terr. Río Negro. / F. & M. Edwards / B.M. 1927–63.” // “BMNH(E) # / 257918”. The holotype is in good condition, as well as the paratype ( BMNH (E) # 257919) .
A. longistila Freeman 1951: 52 , fig. 105 (♂ terminalia). Type-locality: Argentina, Río Negro, Lago Correntoso. Holotype ♂, NHM.

Notes. The type series included the male holotype, eleven male and twelve female paratypes, of which the holotype, ten male and eight female paratypes are at the NHM . The labels of the holotype are: “ Aneura / longistila [hw] / Freeman. / HOLOTYPE ” [printed on red label]” // [male terminalia on a microslide attached to a pinned plastic stripe]” // “HOLO- / TYPE” [printed in black on a rounded label with red border]” // “Lago Correntoso. / 18–25.xii.1926.” // “ Argentina: / Prov. Río Negro. / F. & M. Edwards / B.M. 1927–63.” // “BMNH(E) # / 257899”. Most of the paratypes are in excellent condition ( BMNH (E) # 257900-17) .
