Notes. The type series included the male holotype, one male and two female paratypes, of which the holotype, one male and one female paratypes are at the NHM. The labels of the holotype are: “ Coelosia / flavithorax [hw] / Freeman. / HOLOTYPE ” [printed on red label]” // [male terminalia on a microslide attached to a pinned plastic stripe]” // “HOLO- / TYPE” [printed in black on a rounded label with red border]” // “Lago Gutierrez. / 3– 14.xi.1926.” // “ Argentina: / Prov. Río Negro. / F. & M. Edwards / B.M. 1927–63.” // “BMNH(E) # / 253806”. The male paratype has the terminalia mounted on an acetate sheet and one paratype has the abdomen missing, supposedly one of the female paratypes. The paratypes are numbered BMNH(E) # 253807-8 .
