Aphiochaeta tasmaniensis Malloch, 1912: 514 View in CoL .

This species was described from a large series of both sexes from Tasmania. A male cotype in the Museum Koenig (Bonn), labelled ‘ Australia, Tasmania, Arthur M. Lee collector, 14907 USNM’, has been remounted on a slide. A male and female cotypes from the United States National Museum have also been remounted on slides. They are labelled the same as the Bonn specimen.
