Chorotype. W-Mediterranean.

Distribution in North Africa. Algeria, Morocco and Tunisia ( Jäch & Skale 2015).

Moroccan distribution. Rif and Pré-Rif: Tétouan ( Bennas et al. 2001), Chefchaouen and Larache ( Bennas et al. 2001; Slimani et al. 2016). Middle Atlas: Ifrane (Orchymont 1938; Kocher 1958; Berthélemy et al. 1992), Meknès ( Kocher 1958) and Fès ( Dakki 1986).
