Type. Psammophila atrocyanea Eversmann, 1849: 365 , sex not indicated. Holotype, ♀ “Orb // 19’9 // amophila n. sp. B. M.”.

Type locality. “Orb” [= Orenburg oblast, Russia, no specific locality].
