Microperus leprosulus (Schedl) : Saha & Maiti 1996: 827. [as synonym of M. undulatus ( Sampson, 1919) ]
Remarks. This species was previously placed in synonymy with Microperus undulatus ( Sampson, 1919) by Wood (1989: 171) without comment. The paralectotype (NHMUK) and images of the lectotype (NHMW) were compared with the holotype of M. undulatus ( Sampson, 1919) (NHMUK) and were found to be distinctly different, most notably with M. undulatus having a saddle-like impression on the elytral disc.
Distribution. West Malaysia, Thailand.
