Remarks. The holotype (NHMUK) and a paratype (NUFM) were examined. The species has the characteristics of Debus given above for D. abscissus and is here transferred to that genus.
Distribution. East Malaysia.
Debus insitivus ( Schedl, 1959) comb. nov.
Xyleborus insitivus Schedl, 1959: 509 View in CoL .
Remarks. The holotype (NHMUK) was examined. The species has the characteristics of Debus given above for D. abscissus and is here transferred to that genus.
Distribution. Sri Lanka.
