Remarks. The holotype (NHMUK) was examined. The species is transferred to Euwallacea because of the following combination of characters: pronotum quadrate with conspicuous lateral corners and sides parallel in dorsal view (type 4); posterolateral margin of elytra carinate; pronotal disc alutaceous; antennal club flattened, type 3 with two sutures on posterior face; elytral declivity sparsely setose; scutellum flush with elytra and flat; and mycangial tufts absent.
Distribution. West Malaysia.
