Remarks. An image of the holotype (NHMW) was examined. The specimen exhibits the typical morphological characteristics of Ambrosiophilus Hulcr & Cognato, 2009 which include the absence of asperities on the pronotal disc, and the pronotal and elytral discs flat, not rounded in lateral view, and is here transferred to that genus.
