Type material: Paratypes: 11 individuals from catalogue number 50058-0785-VIE/430 to 50067-0794-VIE/430 and 50068-0862-VIE/430 deposited at SMF ( AQUILA 2022)
Type locality: Tunisia: Oued Djoumine stream, Mateur ( Walter 1928) .
Geographical distribution: Southwestern Palaearctic ( Gerecke et al. 2016).
Distribution in Portugal: Centre: Beira Alta ( Valdecasas 1988), Côa River, near 10 km to VilarFormoso ( Lundblad 1956).
Ecological notes: Freshwater, lentic waters (e.g. pools) and interstitial habitats ( Gerecke et al. 2016), as well as at riverine clear water, present in plants Myriophyllum spp. and Juncus spp. ( Lundblad 1956) .
