The new genus, Leipanthura, could be identified in a first couplet of a key to genera of Anthuridae View in CoL as follows:

1 Uropodal exopod terminal, cylindrical...................................... Leipanthura View in CoL

– Uropodal exopod subterminal, dorsal, leaf-like .... all other genera (see key in Poore, 2001)

Alternatively, it would be necessary to replace the final couplets of Poore’s (2001:

105) key to genera of Anthuridae to accommodate Leipanthura as follows:
