Distribution. The species was described from Egypt and is distributed in Syria, Yemen and in Africa South of Sahara in Chad, Sudan, Ethiopia, Kenya, Zambia, Angola, Zimbabwe, and South Africa (Eastern Cape: first record, Western Cape).
