Range: —Known with certainty only from Bolivia (CO, LP), but the range is uncertain due to taxonomic confusion in this group.
Ecology: —Fairly common, but local; epiphytic in humid forests; 1400–3500 m.
Notes: —The blade scales are larger than those of E. neei but very similar to those of E. molle . The scale color is often somewhat duller than that of many other species in this group. This species may be the same as E. guamanianum (Sodiro) C.Chr. , an older name, from Ecuador.
