Range: — Endemic to Bolivia ( LP); known only from the type collection, made in 1926 .
Ecology: —Rare; saxicolous in humid forests; 2400 m.
Notes: —Resembling E. beaurepairei but differing by shorter leaves, blades widest below the middle, shorter fertile fronds, and the abaxial blade surfaces with at least a few subulate scales mixed with flattish, circular ones only about 0.2 mm wide. Probably has a rosette-like growth habit, with the sterile fronds spreading and forming a loose rosette around the centrally attached erect fertile ones.
