Range: —Central Peru to Bolivia (CO, LP).
Ecology: —Rare; epiphytic in humid forests; 3100–4000 m.
Notes: —The black blade scales are reminiscent of E. productum , but that species has thicker rhizomes and smaller, thinner-textured blade scales. Intermediate between the groups of E. glossophyllum (with slender, creeping rhizomes) and E. andicola (with large, coriaceous blades).
