Agriocleptes bergi Wygodzinsky, 1953

This species was described from Brazil and Argentina ( Wygodzinsky 1953). The specimens listed below are the first record of Agriocleptes from Paraguay. This new record is not surprising, since previously known localities are very close to the one in Paraguay. Although known before from Brazil ( Forero 2002), it is the first time that A. bergi is recorded from Mato Grosso, and this locality constitutes the northernmost record of this species.

Material examined: BRASIL, 1ɗ, Mato Grosso, Chavantina, ars, 1962, Alvarenga [ AMNH]. PARAGUAY, 1Ψ, Itapuá, Cantera, XI1956. [ AMNH].
