Agriocleptes wygodzinskyi Prosen & Martínez, 1953

Forero & Giacchi (2001) synonymyzed A. zishkai Wygodzinsky, 1953 , under this species. They quoted all the type material available to them. While studying the Reduviidae collection of the FMNH, additional paratypes of A. wygodzinskyi were found ( Fig. 27 ). Prosen & Martínez (1953) stated that “several male and female paratypes [are] in the collection of Mr. Rodolfo Zischka of Cochabamba, Bolivia.” These paratypes found in the FMNH must be those mentioned as being in Zischka’s collection, and they are listed below.

Material examined: BOLIVIA, 1ɗ, 2ΨΨ, Cochabamba, 2600 m / 22­III­1953 / Paratypus (red label) / L. E. Peña colln. FMNH 1986 Acc. # 17.422 / “ Agriocleptes wygodzinskyi Mart & Prosen 1953 ”; 1Ψ, ­same data, but­ “ 10­III­1953.”
