DISTRIBUTION. Ivory Coast, Tanzania, [ England, under glass].

HOST PLANTS. Oleandraceae : Oleandra articulata ; Pteridaceae : Pteris togoensis , undetermined; Thelypteridaceae : Christella dentata .

COMMENTS. This African species was described from glasshouse material at Kew Gardens, England, as a separate species Aleuropteridis douglasi Mound (1961) before being recognised as a synonym of A. ficicola ( Mound, 1965) .
