Material examined. Type series: Syntypes, 2 ♂♂, NHMB 4746 , " Kongsbergia pectinata Typus ♂, Kaltbrunnental , Kiesbank , 24.10.1943, Walter XV/33"; paratypes, same data as holotype, on two slides: NHMB 4747 (idiosoma), 4748 (gnathosoma) ♂ "XV/34, XV/35".

France: Corsica, F 38 Int (1/0/0); F 39 Int (4/0/0); Italy: Sardinia, I 389 Int (1/0/0); Switzerland: NHMB 4750 (1/0/0).

First records from France and Italy.

Remarks. This species was incorrectly considered as a junior synonym of K. pectinigera by several authors (see there for diagnostic differences in males; the morphological differentiation between females is not definitvely clear). The studied males are characterized as follows: Idiosoma elongated, with straight lateral margins, area of Dgl-1 slightly projecting in the rounded frontal margin, posterior margin rounded to trapezoid. Lateral eyes present, small, with red pigmentation. Dorsal shield laterally longitudinally wrinkled, dorsal setae simple, equal in shape. IV-L-4 distal setae smooth; IV-L-5 with a strong proximoventral extension, distal sector concave; proximoventral seta stout, curved, ventrally pectinate; medioventral seta horn-shaped, long, smooth; distoventral seta small, foliate; IV-L-6 ventral margin basally concave, in proximal third with a triangular extension, distally straight, parallel to dorsal margin. Genital field with about 15 pairs of Ac in two or more rows. P-2 with 2-4 proximally-directed pointed extensions on a proximoventral projection, distoventral margin straight; P-4 very slender, proximoventral margin concave, in basal third slightly convex, distoventral margin straight, ventral setae distanced, in distal third.

Measurements of 4 males (holo-/ paratype, NHMB 4750, F 39 I): Idiosoma L/W 420–470/235–290, ratio 1.5–1.8, dL 370–420; IV-L (L/H, L/H ratio): IV-L-4, 88–110/44–55, 1.6–2.3; IV-L-5, 75/48–58, 1.3–1.6; IV-L-6, 110–123/33–35, 3.1–3.8. L ratio IV-L-4/5, 1.2–1.5; IV-L-4/6, 0.7–1.0; IV-L-5/6, 0.6–0.7. Palp measurements (L/H, L/H ratio, relative L % total L): P-1, 30–35/25–29, 1.0–1.2, 9–10; P-2, 85–95/63–68, 1.3–1.4, 28; P-3, 33–38/ 33–36, 1.0–1.1, 11–12; P-4, 123–135/23–25, 5.0–6.0, 40–42; P-5, 33–37/11–13, 2.6–2.9, 10–11. L ratio P-2/P-3, 2.3–2.6; P-2/P-4, 0.7; P-3/P-4, 0.3; P4/P-2+3, 1.0–1.1.
