Synonymy. We examined the types of O. fujianicus and O. bianatinus and both male palps had the same structure. Examination of further specimens of both sexes (see material examined) supported the synonymy. It should be noted that the epigynal fertilization ducts had not been illustrated in the plates of Xie & Kim (1996).

Diagnosis. This species is similar to O. lineatipes C. L. Koch, 1848 , but differs in the tibial apophyses, which has a large, uncovered depression (small, covered depression in O. lineatipes ), and the epigynum , which has a swollen, posteriorly situated sclerotized plate (absent in O. lineatipes ).

Description. Male (specimen labelled “Zheng-sp67”): Total length 6.50. Prosoma 3.00 long, 2.70 wide; opisthosoma 4.00 long, 1.30 wide. Carapace yellow. Chelicera yellow with a black stripe, with 2 pro (1 large, 1 small) and 1 retromarginal teeth. Sternum, labium and endites yellow. Legs slender, femora I, II, IV with a black stripes ventrally, leg formula: 1243. Opisthosoma dorsally yellow with light black stripes laterally.

Palp ( Figs 27 View FIGURE 27 A–B, 28A–B). Tibia with a large depression and 4 irregular tibial apophyses; apex of median apophysis sharp; embolus long, covered by conductor.

Female (specimen labelled “Zheng-sp67): Total length 6.20. Prosoma 2.40 long, 1.80 wide; opisthosoma 3.70 long, 1.50 wide. Body color slightly lighter than in male. Opisthosoma dorsal markings same as in male.

Epigynum ( Figs 27 View FIGURE 27 C–D, 28C–D). Posterior sclerotized edge prominent, copulatory openings laterally situated, copulatory ducts twisted, spermatheca thicker than copulatory ducts.

Variation. Total length: 3 5.80–6.60 (n=13); Ƥ 6.20–7.80 (n=15).

Distribution. China (Fujian, Guandong, Hunan, newly recorded here for Yunnan).
