COMMENTS: In the original description, Hartert cited Kühn’s unique field number of the holotype, indicating more than one specimen but not saying how many he examined. Five specimens came to AMNH with the Rothschild Collection ; the four paratypes in AMNH are: AMNH 700394 View Materials (Kühn no. 7149), male ; AMNH 700395 View Materials (7276), male ; AMNH 700397 View Materials (7279), female ; AMNH 700398 View Materials (7277), female, all collected between 10 and 16 February 1906 on Ambon .
