DISTRIBUTION. — India, Bangladesh, South China (Yunnan), Burma, Thailand, Vietnam and Peninsular Malaysia ( Fig. 8 View FIG ). Possibly not yet collected in Cambodia and Laos.

ECOLOGY OR HABITAT. — Primary forest.

CONSERVATION STATUS. — IUCN Global Status: Least Concern (LC); IUCN Regional (Indochina) Status: Data Deficient (DD).

PHENOLOGY. — Flowering: November, January. Fruiting: not documented.

VERNACULAR NAME. — Tram dau ( Vietnam).
