Empria japonica Heidemaa & Prous, 2011

Specimens examined. [Hokkaido]: 1 ♀, “Hokkaido- 32 (86), 24. VIII., Aizankei, Kiichigo [= Rubus  sp.], emerged 8 -V. 87 ”. In MNHAH.

Host plant. Rosaceae  : Rubus  sp.

Remarks. Prous et al. (2011 b) suggested that the host could be Rubus idaeus  L. subsp. melanolasius (Dieck) Focke. This is probably true but remains to be verified by direct evidence.
