Diagnosis

Acroporidae that are cuneiform, encrusting or ramose with multiple axial or leading corallites, or a main axial plus supplementary axials at the tips of some branches and numerous radial corallites; coenosteum a dense arrangement of meandroid elaborated spinules; columella and dissepiments absent ( Wallace et al., 2007).

Ocurrence

Early Miocene (this paper) to Recent ( Wallace et al., 2012).
