Remarks: Probably juveniles; no species of Heriaeus  were recorded from Botswana in the revision of Van Niekerk & Dippe- naar-Schoeman (2013).

Remarks: Although Dippenaar-Schoeman (1983) indicated that the species is distributed in Central and West Africa, there are no records in the literature to indicate its occurrence in Central Africa.The record presented here was an uncertain identification, so the species’ current distribution, indicated as West Africa, is probably accurate.
