Seed description

Seeds compressed, 7.5 mm long, 5.2 mm wide and 2.6 mm thick, oblong. The surface is reticulate-foveolate and orange-brown, with 3.87 reticulations per mm 2. The reticulations have an average diameter of 720 µm and a depth of 213 µm. The margin is entire and very thick. The reticulations bordering the margin are open laterally. The apex has a hooked prominent appendage. The base is obtuse, without a mucro. The palisade seed coat is 275 µm thick.
