Material examined. Thailand: Phetchaburi Province, 50 km SW Phetchaburi, environs of National Park Kaeng Krachan, 400 m, near reservoir, 30–31 July 1996, 2 males, 3 females, coll. A. Gorochov ( ZISP).

Distribution. India , China, Myanmar, Vietnam, Indonesia (Java) ( Blackith, 1992). Here this species is firstly recorded from Thailand.

Notes. The description of this species was actually published in 1843 (see the above note on Hedotettix gracilis ).
