Distribution: United States: FL. (West Indies, South America)

Comments: This neotropical species was first recorded from the United States (Florida) as Oebalus grisescens Sailer by Mead (1983). This combination (considered to be a synonym of Oebalus ypsilongriseus byVecchio et al. 1994) was also used by Froeschner (1988). This species has also been recorded from Florida relatively recently ( Halbert 2015, 2017), thus indicating that it is established in North America.
