Runibia dallasi Rider, 1998

Distribution: United States: TX. ( Cuba, Jamaica)

Comments: This species was listed in Froeschner (1988) under the preoccupied name Runibia proxima (Dallas) ; Rider (1998) proposed Runibia dallasi as a replacement name. The Texas record was reported by Snow (1906) from the Brownsville area. To our knowledge, no other published records exist (the Snow record was repeated by several others). The occurrence of this species in our fauna needs confirmation.
