Pentatominae
status

Pentatominae : Nezarini

This tribe seems to include those pentatomine genera that are green in color while living, and they remain green in color after death (that is, they do not normally fade to a yellowish color). This would seem to be a poor character upon which to base a tribal distinction, but it seems to be valid. Some of the New World genera treated below ( Cyptocephala , Tepa , and Thyanta ) are only tentatively included in this tribe.
