United States: AZ, CA, CO, ID, KS, ND, NE, NM ( Barber 1926, Ruckes 1938, Bundy 2012, Wheeler 2015a), NV, OK ( Arnold & Drew 1988, Wheeler 2015a), SD ( Harris 1937, Wheeler 2015a), UT ( Van Duzee 1904, 1917; Pack & Knowlton 1930; Knowlton 1931; Woodbury 1931; Torre-Bueno 1939b; Knowlton & Harmston 1940; Thomas & Werner 1981; Thomas 1983), WY ( Thomas 1983). ( Mexico)

Comments: Sites et al. (2012) provided an explanation as to why this species should not be included in the list of Missouri species, even though Missouri is the type locality for Chlorochroa faceta . The biology of this species was recently studied ( Wheeler 2015a). This species is considered to be a member of the subgenus Rhytidolomia .
