Diagnosis. Differs from the other congeners, except H. faucium , H. inflata and H. gruberi sp. nov., by the presence of bilobed posterior lamella on angiocoxites. From H. faucium , it differs by 1) mesal process: large-toothed anterodistal margin in H. filicis vs. small-toothed in H. faucium , 2) posterior lamellae: almost parallel to each other, almost of the same size and simply rounded in H. filicis vs. lamellae superposed, upper one smaller and bent down into an extension in H. faucium . From H. inflata , it differs by 1) mesal process: saw-like in H. filicis vs. hand-like with several distal teeth in H. inflata , 2) posterior lateral process: stronlgy curved posteriad in H. filicis vs. straight in H. inflata . From H. gruberi sp. nov., it differs by 1) mesal process: strongly denticulated in H. filicis vs. simple mesal process without teeth in H. gruberi sp. nov., 2) posterior lamellae: almost of the same size in H. filicis vs. lower posterior lamella much larger compared to the upper one in H. gruberi sp. nov.

Type material examined: Lectotype: ♂ slide preparation ( ZSM-A 20032156) includes anterior and posterior gonopods, leg-pairs 10 and 11, leg-pair?7, Leoben, Orobainosoma filicis Verh. , here designated. Paralectotype: ♂ slide preparation ( ZSM-A 20032157) includes anterior and posterior gonopods, leg-pairs 10 and 11, leg-pairs?6 and?7, Leoben, 950 m, Orobainosoma filicis Verh. Other examined types: Orobainosoma filicis ossiacum Verhoeff, 1939b syntype, ♂ slide preparation ( ZSM-A 20034124) includes anterior and posterior gonopods, leg-pairs 10 and 11, several other leg-pairs, “Kanzel, 1500 m ”, Austria.

Other material examined: AUSTRIA: 1 ♂, Carinthia: Reichenau, Winkl in Ebene Reichenau , 25.08.1916, At- tems det. Orobainosoma flavescens ( Latzel, 1884) , J. Gruber rev. 2009 ( NHMW9498 View Materials ) ; 1 ♂, Steiermark, Sölkerpass, Römerwegkehre , 5 km SSE St. Nikolai, 1700–1750m, 14.067°E, 47.2667°N, 23.09.1997, J. Spelda leg. and det. (Spelda collection 160831 -050) GoogleMaps .

Distribution ( Figs 38 View FIGURE 38 , 41 View FIGURE 41 ). Austria: Leoben (Verhoeff 1930), Spitz Christi (Verhoeff 1930), Kanzel, N of Lake Ossiach ( Verhoeff 1939b), Ebene Reichenau ( Gruber 2009), Sölkerpass (present study).

Type locality. Near Leoben , Austria .

Comments. Attems (1949: 129) misidentified a male from Ebene Reichenau as H. flavescens ( Gruber 2009) .

We examined one male from Ebene Reichenau, close to the type locality of Orobainosoma filicis ossiacum and realized both lobes of the posterior lamella are well-developed as in the nominal taxon, while mesal process has two strongly developed medial teeth and coxal process of the posterior gonopods has longer branches as in O. filicis ossiacum . Since both mesal and coxal processes can be variable in other species, we consider O. filicis ossiacum as a junior subjective synonym of Haasea filicis .
