Companilactobacillus baiquanensis (bai.quan.eńsis. N.L. masc. adj. baiquanensis , pertaining to Baiquan, a county in the Heilongjiang province of China).

Basonym: Lactobacillusbaiquanensis Weiand Gu 2019 , 3192 VP

The type strain grows at 15 and 37 but not at 45 °C; DL-lactic acid isproduced from ribose, hexoses andmaltose [ 118]. The genome size is 2.24 Mbp; the mol% G+C content is 34.4.
