Diagnostic characters. The male imago is characterized by having an antenna with ten flagellomeres, AR 0.44–0.50, 0.46; Hind tibia expanded, with comb of 15–17, 16 setae, one seta near spur strongly S-shaped. Lengths and proportions of legs remeasured based on material from Zhejiang Province as in Table 3. Superior volsella undeveloped. Inferior volsella digitiform. Phallapodeme strongly curved not extending beyond tergite IX, 60–65, 63 µm long, and joint with sternapodeme placed pre–lateral. Sternapodeme inverted V–shaped. Gonostylus curved tapering, 30–38, 33 µm long, median broaden; megaseta 6–7 µm long. HR 2.43–2.77, 2.55; HV 3.46–4.31, 3.91.
