Apanteles lunata Song & Chen, 2004: 68 . Holotype ♀ — Jilin, China [FAFU]

Diagnosis. Body length 2.2 mm, fore wing length 2.5 mm. Body black, hind femur yellow. Posterior tangent to anterior ocellus slightly transecting posterior ocelli, distance between fore and hind ocellus as long as diameter of hind ocellus. Antenna distinctly longer than body length, penultimate flagellomere 1.7× longer than wide. Interspaces between punctures on disc of mesonotum distinctly shorter than its diameter. Areola on propodeum closed, V-shaped apically, with strong costulae, posterio-lateral parts with much carinae. Pterostigma 2.8× as long as its widest part, vein 1-R1 as long as pterostigma, vein r 1.8× longer than vein 2-SR, weakly angled at junction. T1 parallel-sided, 1.5× longer than hind width, turned-over part slightly shiny, with longitudinal striation laterally, longitudinal channel narrow and smooth; T2 shiny and nearly polished, except weak wrinkles, 3.9× wider than long in the middle; T3 2.3× longer than T2. Ovipositor sheath 0.8 length of hind tibia.

Remarks. Characters of the examined specimens mostly agree with the previous descriptions except T2 slightly narrower and antenna longer.
