Apanteles gracilicorne Song & Chen, 2004: 51 . Holotype ♀ — Fujian, China [FAFU].
Diagnosis. Body length 2.7 mm, fore wing length 3.1 mm. Body black, hind femur black. Ocelli small, posterior tangent to anterior ocellus touching posterior ocelli, distance between fore and hind ocellus slightly longer than diameter of hind ocellus. Antenna about as long as body length, penultimate flagellomere 1.6× longer than wide. Pronotum without longitudinal striation, interspaces between punctures on disc of mesonotum shorter than its diameter. Areola on propodeum V-shaped apically, closed with strong costulae, posterio-lateral parts smooth. Pterostigma 2.5× as long as its widest part, vein 1-R1 1.1× longer than pterostigma, vein r and 2-SR curved at junction. T1 nearly parallel-sided, 2.3× longer than hind width, turned-over part slightly shiny, with longitudinal striation laterally, longitudinal channel narrow with strong rugosity; T2 shiny and nearly polished, except a few weak punctures, 2.5× wider than long in the middle; T3 3.0× longer than T2. Ovipositor sheath as long as hind tibia.

Distribution. China (Fujian, Hebei, Liaoning, Yunnan, Zhejiang).
Remarks. Characters of the examined specimens mostly agree with the published descriptions except posterior tangent to anterior ocellus actually touching posterior ocelli.
