Diagnosis. Body length 2.5 mm, fore wing length 2.9 mm. Body black, hind femur yellow. Ocelli not large, posterior tangent to anterior ocellus not touching posterior ocelli, distance between fore and hind ocellus as long as diameter of hind ocellus. Remarks. We were not able to examine the specimens of Apanteles cornicula Chen & Song (FJAU). However, based on the description and imagines in 2004, the diagnosis features including yellow apical part of hind coxa, slender antenna, parallel-sided T1, and indefinite costulae and rugosity on propodeum definitely attribute to Apanteles chloris Nixon, 1965 .
