( Figures 6 View FIGURE 6 , 98 View FIGURE 98. 1–16 )

Description. Holotype. Female. Body length 2.5 mm, fore wing length 3.0 mm.

Head. Transverse in dorsal view, 1.9× as wide as long, indistinctly wider than mesoscutum. Vertex between eye and posterior ocellus slightly shiny with small punctures. Temple rough with shallow punctures, slightly broad behind eye. Face 0.7× as high as wide, dull, rough with even, small punctures, inner margin of eyes subparallel-sided, pubescent. Ocelli large, posterior tangent to anterior ocellus not touching posterior ocelli, distance between fore and hind ocellus slightly longer than diameter of hind ocellus, POL:OD:OOL=5.0:2.2:5.0. Antenna indistinctly longer than body length, loosely articulated, penultimate flagellomere 1.7× longer than wide.

Mesosoma. Length:width:height = 49.0:29.0:33.5. Disc of mesonotum slightly shiny with coarse punctures, interspaces not smaller than diameter of puncture, punctures somewhat confluent at posterior end of notaulic courses, shiny and impunctate at apical margin. Scutellar sulcus curved, narrow with carinae inside. Scutellum convex, satin-like sheen, with some indistinct punctures, median length weakly longer than basal width. Lateral polished field of scutellum reaching over half length of scutellum. Propodeum slightly shiny, indefinitely punctate anteriolaterally, narrowly areolate, V-shaped apically, and polished inside, costulae absent, spiracle enclosed by posterior keels, mostly smooth, except for some carinae posterio-laterally. Mesopleuron shiny, anterior parts slightly shiny with shallow punctures.

Legs. Hind femur relatively thin, 3.4× longer than wide. Hind coxa weakly shiny with shallow punctures above (basally). Spines on outer side of third tibia stout, close-set. Inner spurs of hind tibia fully half length of hind basitarsus, outer spur 1/4. Basitarsus of hind leg about as long as tarsomeres 2–4 combined, claws of normal size.

Wings. Pterostigma 2.9× as long as its widest part. Vein 1-R1 1.3× longer than pterostigma, 4.1× as long as its distance from apex of marginal cell. Vein r arising slightly behind middle of pterostigma, perpendicular to the latter, 1.2× as long as width of pterostigma, r 1.5× longer than 2-SR, indistinctly angled at junction, 2-M half length of 2-SR, indistinctly shorter than 1-SR, 2-SR+M as long as cu-a and 2-SR. First discal cell of fore wing 1.2× wider than high. Second submarginal cell of hind wing 1.7× wider than high. Vein cu-a curved. Hind wing broad, length of 1-M shorter than distance between its distal extremity and apex of vannal lobe, and vannal lobe beyond its widest part straight and without setae.

Metasoma. 0.8× as long as mesosoma. T1 parallel-sided, slightly constricted at apical third, 2.3× longer than hind width, concave at basal third, turned-over part slightly shiny and rugose, longitudinal trough indistinct, and apical tubercle shiny and smooth. T2 slightly shiny and rough, extremely weakly rugulose, 3.0× wider than long in the middle, nearly straight apically. T3 1.6× longer than T2. Tergites posterior to T2 slightly shiny, slightly rough, and sparsely pubescent. Hypopygium not longer than apex of metasoma. Ovipositor sheath short, 0.7× as long as length of hind tibia, relatively narrow. Apical attenuation of ovipositor short, distinct.

Colour. Black. Tegula black. Palpi dingy yellow and spurs pale yellow. Antenna yellowish and ovipositor sheath dark brown. Labrum and mandible black. Legs dark brown, except most part of fore femur, fore tibia with tarsus, extreme apex of middle femur, middle tibia with tarsus, and basal fifth of hind tibia light reddish yellow to light yellowish brown. Wing membrane indistinct brownish, C+SC+R, 1-R1, border of pterostigma, r, 2-SR and 2- M brown, pterostigma and the rest more or less pale brown.

Variation. Body length 1.7–2.7 mm, fore wing length 2.2–3.0 mm. Apical third of hind tibia to nearly whole tibia blackish brown.

Male. Unknown.

Distribution. China (Fujian, Hunan, Jiangsu, Zhejiang).

Etymology. The specific name “ angustus ” derives from the Latin, referring to the narrow areolation on propodeum.

Remarks. This species is similar to A. ater (Ratzeburg) , but differs in the following: penultimate flagellomere 1.7× longer than wide (just longer than wide in latter); segment 2 of fore tarsus obviously longer than wide (hardly in latter); and without striate-punctation at posterior end of notaulic course (with in latter).
