Apanteles psenes Nixon, 1965: 80 View in CoL . Holotype ♀ (examined)—Malaysia-Peninsular [NHM, Fig. 104o View FIGURE 104 1 –o View FIGURE 1 2 View FIGURE 2 ].
Diagnosis. Ovipositor sheath slightly longer than hind tibia; propodeum completely but rather weakly areolated; T1 coarsely punctate and parallel-sided; hind tarsus very pale yellow, tarsomeres with faint apical infuscation; antenna rather thin, with flagellomeres 16–17 very slightly longer than wide; fore wing weakly brownish; hind wing rather narrow; face impunctate but with satin-like sheen; frons, vertex and temples hardly roughened but dull with a satinlike sheen.
Material examined. 1♀, Dongyang , Zhejiang, 1983.VIII, Shi Zuhua, No. 831940 ; 1♀, Longquan , Zhejiang, light trap, 1965.VII.20, He Junhua, No. 65054.8 .
Distribution. China (Zhejiang) new record; Malaysia, Vietnam.
Remarks. Characters of the examined specimens agree with the published descriptions and the type specimen, except for penultimate flagellomere slightly longer and vein r more distinctly angled with 2-SR ( Fig. 68f View FIGURE 68 ).
