Comments. Males of T. xaniostylis are recognized by gonostylus with a row of rod-like bristles at apex and elongated bristles in the lateral lateral margin; ejaculatory apodeme long, twice the length of gonostylus. The type specimens were not examined; however, the description and figures of Quate (1996) allowed for the identification of the specimens.

Nunes de Melo, Km 4, 24.XI.1998, 1 ♂, without name of colector ( MZFS); Pará, Novo Repartimento, Vic. Bandeirante, Sítio Pedro Roqueta, 19.VIII.1998, 1 ♂, without name of colector ( MZFS).
Distribution. Costa Rica. Brazil—Amazonas, Pará, Roraima (all new records).
