Ingrisch 2011: 2, Liu & Liu 2011: 14.
Type species: Locusta poaefolia Haan, 1843
Body very slender. Tegminal width narrower than pronotum length, radial sector branching before middle of tegmina. Previously, the subgenus globally included 8 species distributed in Southwestern China to Malay Archipelago, among which two species are distributed in southern China.
