This species is widely distributed in Beijing, Hebei, Henan, Shanxi, Shandong, Anhui, Jiangxi and Hunan, China, with an elevation range of 200–1000 m. It is similar to H. crenatum , but the former has soft hairs on the indusia. Material was collected from crevices in Mt. Tai-Shan, Shandong. This is the first report of this species with chromosome number n=41 ( Figs. 25, 26 View FIGURES 25–26 ) .
This species has a wide range of distribution in Henan, Shanxi, Gansu, Sichuan, Guizhou, Yunnan and Xizang, with an elevation range of 400–2500 m. Material was collected from crevices in limestone areas of Kang-xian, Gansu. This is the first report of this species with chromosome number n=41 (Figs. 27, 28) .
H. microleptoides Ching ex Shing
This species is endemic to southern Yunnan, China (Teng-Chong and Long-Ling) and grows in crevices in the forest, with an elevation range of 1300–1400 m. The species is similar to H. crenatum , but the former has a glabrous petiole, and 2–4 thick dentates on the pinnae. Material was collected from crevices in Teng-Chong, Yunnan. This is the first report of this species with chromosome number n=41 (Figs. 29, 30) .
This species is endemic to Shandong, China and grows in crevices in limestone areas under the forest canopy. Thin setose glandular hairs cover the petiole, rachis, both sides and margins of the pinnae and the indusia. The chromosome number of n=40 (Figs. 31, 32) is the first report for this species.
This species has a wide range of distribution in Beijing, Shanxi, Shandong, Jiangsu and Anhui. It is similar to H. crenatum , but the former has soft hairs on the indusia, and small brownish lanceolate scales on the rachis and costa. Material was collected from Mt. Ta-Shan , Shandong. This is the first report of this species with chromosome number n=41 (Figs. 33, 34) .
